"...I feel compelled to write to you with my family's sincere thanks for looking after my Grandmother...after 98 years of being a very proud and independent lady, she was thrilled to have found two great friends in her carers, Toni & Karen...
"Toni & Karen are a total credit to your profession and their compassion, thoughtfulness and quality of care were second to none... I cannot give high enough praise to them, they were wonderful... For that our family is eternally grateful..." Mrs J "They are lovely and they go above and beyond just to make me feel better" Mrs K
"... I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to you all for your kindness, patience, hard work, considerate care and loyal devotion over the years in pulling together as a family team to help (my loved one) stay at home.
"Without your help and support she would not have been able to maintain any degree of independence or receive the correct medical care and attention she needed. "Each and every one of you played a special and important role in helping to improve her quality of life. "I will always be grateful for the immediate and helpful response I received whenever I needed your guidance and assistance..." Mr & Mrs S |
Support for you in your home and help with activities and trips out.
For many of our clients, having someone to help them in their own home is their number one lifeline and can easily be the difference between them staying in their home or having to move into full time residential care. At Amphion we realise that no adequate value can be placed on independence and the feeling that a person is still in control of their life. If we can help to maintain that for our clients, when we know we are doing our job right.

Help with Personal Care
This is one of our key areas of support for you.
Personal care covers a lot of support that you may currently have some difficulty with. It could be getting up or having a bath or going to the loo or taking your medication. Whatever it is, we will meet you to thoroughly understand your needs and so we aim to meet you within 24 hours of your call to discuss everything you want.
This area of our service falls into the following 3 categories:
Support with Daily Living
This could include getting up and dressed, preparing meals, assisting to the toilet, help with taking medication, collecting a pension, filling in forms, etc.
We would help you access any equipment that might be required and provide you with fully trained staff. We aim to have a small, friendly team who you can trust.
Bathing Service
We can assist with your daily washing as part of supporting you with your daily living but for a more relaxing experience, why not arrange our bathing service (usually a minimum of 1 hour). We can provide fully trained and insured staff and arrange equipment (where possible) to allow you to enjoy a relaxing soak.
Day and Night Sitting
Daytime - maybe to give your carer a break we could visit for a period of time.
Night time - we can attend on a ‘waking’ basis to help you through the night or on a ‘sleeping’ basis where we provide peace of mind as we are present to help if needed.
